Submission system is now open

The online submissions system for ALT-C 2009 is now open. You can access the system from
http://www.alt.ac.uk/guidelines_papers.html, where you will also find:

• links to each of the two call and guidelines documents;
• a Word DOC format template for research papers;
• summary details of all relevant dates and deadlines.

The closing date for submissions is midnight on Monday, 16 February 2009.

Please draw these details the attention of people whom you think will be interested in putting in a proposal for ALT-C 2009.

Calls and Guidelines

The process for submitting abstracts and research papers differs from in previous years. Rather than summarising the requirements on our web site, instead we provide comprehensive documents for you to download and refer to prior to writing or submitting a proposal. Please read these carefully, and please ensure that they are drawn to the attention of people whom you think would be interested in presenting at ALT-C 2009.

Key dates

1. Calls and Guidelines issued on 3 December 2008
2. Proposals accepted from late December 2008
3. Deadline for receipt of proposals: midnight UK time on 16 February 2009
4. Bookings open during May 2009
5. Presenters' registration deadline 29 June 2009
6. Earlybird registration deadline is 6 July 2009
7. Bookings close on 14 August 2009
