Final booking deadline - 19 August

Today we extended the final booking deadline for ALT-C 2010 to Thursday, 19 August.

From Monday 16 August credit/debit card payments will be preferred with conference handbooks to be collected on arrival at the conference, if required, rather than sent by post.

The booking system for ALT-C 2010 is now open at http://www.alt.ac.uk/altc2010/registering.html. Prices, discounts, and booking conditions. The early bird deadline is 5 July 2010.

Discounted places to attend ALT-C 2008 now available

We have a limited number of discounted places for those who would otherwise not be able to pay the full conference fee.  In particular applications are welcomed from students, and from people from less developed countries.  For full details, download the application form [15kb pdf].  The application deadline is Monday, 28th July 2008.

Full conference programme published

Full draft programme [160 kB PDF] published describing a wide spectrum of short papers, workshops, symposia, research papers, posters, and demonstrations. In addition to the keynote speakers - Hans Rosling (Tuesday), Itiel Dror (Wednesday), and David Cavallo (Thursday) we show when each of our invited speakers (Denise Kirkpatrick, Richard Noss, George Auckland, Lizbeth Goodman, George Siemens, Jane Hart, Gilly Salmon and Clive Shepherd) are speaking. The deadline for booking is 15 August 2008.
